Dealing With Lower Joint Back Pain Can Be Extremely Frustrating
Within your body, you have two joints in your lower back. These joints are called the Sacroiliac Joints. They are on each side of the spine at the bottom of your back between the sacrum and the hip bone. The main purpose of these joints is to allow movement of the hips when we are walking or running.
These joints make up the back part of the pelvic girdle. If these joints were not working, there would be much more risk of a pelvic fracture. Any type of injury to these joints could cause joint back pain, which is really frustrating because it can also affect your whole body.
In order to try to determine if your joint back pain is actually the cause of an injury of these Sacroiliac joints, there are symptoms that you can look for. These symptoms include pain that seems to stem from the lower left or lower right part of your back.
This pain can either be a dull pain, or it can be severe enough to be a sharp pain that keeps you from having mobility. You might also have pain that makes its way down into your buttocks and in your groin area as well.
A lot of times when men have an aching pain in their testicles, it ends up being a joint back pain. The most common symptoms that people will have include, not being able to turn very easily while you are in bed, having a hard time getting in and out of your car, and having trouble putting your shoes and socks on.
You can also get a really stiff back when sitting for a long period of time or when you first get up from your bed in the morning. You can also experience some lower back pain when driving long distances as well.
If any of these problems should occur, you should definitely get your joint back pain checked out by a doctor. The pain that you are experiencing can be broken up into four different categories by your doctor. Which category you fall in will determine the treatment that you receive.
These categories include traumatic, bio-mechanical, hormonal, and inflammatory joint disease. The traumatic category is when a person receives an unwanted impact to their body such as falling and landing really hard on your buttocks. Bio-mechanical refers to an occurrence that will happen over a period of time.
Some examples of bio-mechanical include over pronation, having a twisted pelvis, muscle imbalance, and having one leg that is a tad bit shorter than the other. The hormonal category that could cause your joint back pain refers to such occurrences as gaining weight and pregnancy.
Many women have to deal with this pain during their pregnancy due to the extra weight and the increase of laxity that the ligaments of their pelvis experience. The inflammatory joint disease refers to having conditions such as Spondyloarthropathies or Ankylosing Spondylitis. These are conditions that affect the spine and have to have treatment from the doctor.
